AP1 & TX Hit the High Notes

Last Saturday, the 2016 ABRSM High Scorers Concert took place in AP2. It was a fabulous evening's entertainment, featuring performances from students across the city who achieved the highest marks in their ABRSM Music examinations.

Many BIS students were featured and we were especially proud of those students from AP1 and TX who performed:

Instrumental Lessons Start THIS WEEK!

Just a reminder that instrumental lessons start this week.

All times have now been given out and can be found by... 

• looking on the Instrumental Notice Board, 
• asking Ms Fran or Ms Beth
• seeing your class teacher.

If you have not signed up yet for instrumental lessons we still have spaces available for clarinet, violin, flute, trumpet and cello. Please note, if you would like lessons for the drums, ukulele or guitar there is now a waiting list.

Don't forget to fill out your practice diaries and receive your house points and stickers from either Mr Fran or Ms Beth.

Term 1 Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental lessons this term will start the week beginning Monday 14 September and run for 11 weeks. Please see the 'Instrumental Lessons at AP1' letter to view new prices for this year. ABRSM Exams - Entry Deadline

The deadline for ABRSM exam entries is:

Friday 20th February.  

This is during the Tet holidays and it is recommended that you submit your exam entries to the AP2 Cashier before the end of this week.

ABRSM Music Exams

Just a reminder that the closing date for ABRSM entries is 

FRIDAY 21ST FEBRUARY

If you think you might want to do an exam on your instrument this year, please speak to your instrumental teacher or come to see Ms Beth.
