Hadyn also taught Beethoven for a while in Vienna. However, Hadyn was very busy a lot of the time with his own compositions, so Beethoven had to have lessons in secret so that Hadyn wouldn't get upset. Hadyn was very a very important musician and was often called the 'father of the symphony'. This is because he wrote many interesting symphonies. 

Hadyn also liked making lots of practical jokes, and often included 'jokes' in his music. These jokes are jokes that you would find funny after learning about music for a long time.
