This may come from spending a lot of time together. When you practice songs with your friends a lot, this can happen naturally.
Also, the group, 'Pentatonix', make all sounds with their voices. The name for this kind of group is called 'a cappella' with means 'unaccompanied singing'. Some of them take on particular roles of songs. For example, the man with the long hair sings the part of the bass. The girl with the long, blonde hair sings the melody. When everyone sings different parts together this creates harmony.
I wonder where in the woods they went to record this. Who can guess which forest they are in?
How did they do that without instruments !
