Performers were on top form, parents were are proud as can be, and the judges were blown away. Last night's Young Musician of the Year Competition was a huge success with finalists performing to an amazingly high standard. Sanny from 6X walked away with the winner's trophy for the second year running after a very impressive performance of "La Sarabande" by Grovlez on piano. Emily from 6I and Su from 6N both received the runner up trophy and stunned the judges with their technical skills and musicality. Teachers and parents were all in agreement that the decision that the judges had to make was a very difficult one indeed as all performers gave it their very best and showed us all what a talented group of children we have here at BIS. Congratulations to everyone who took part, you should all be very proud of your performances.
I am so proud of Emily and Quy Dong from my class. They both played beautifully and with a lot of passion. Well done everyone who took part.
